Design Services

Our in house garden designer, Pete Sims, has been in the landscape trade for over 18 years and has gained a great knowledge in all factors including design, construction and horticulture. He has played a major role in all our entries at Hampton Court Palace Flower show. Please see our awards/show gardens page.

He gains inspiration from nature and endeavours to work within the natural contours of a plot using natural materials and complimentary planting.

His priority, however is to produce for each client a garden incorporating their individual requirements. To achieve this he will take your achievable key elements, together with his unique ideas, to form a harmonious natural styled whole.

Following your initial consultation, if you are happy to commission Pete, he will create your design using a 3D computer programme. This enables your personal design to be viewed not only as a scaled ground plan but also as 3D images from various positions within the garden and through the different seasons.

Once your design has been completed we will arrange a convenient viewing appointment, normally at our offices. At this time Pete will explain and discuss the design, make any minor alterations, show samples of materials he would recommend and advise on plant types etc. You will then receive a copy of the computer programme, a floppy disc containing your personal design and a copy of the scale plan.

We realise each clients requirements and plot sizes vary so please contact us either by phone or e mail for a design service quotation.

Pete and our team are happy to undertake construction on certain designs if available. However, you may like to hire your own contractors to complete your project. If this is the case we can offer any ongoing consultation that may be required once contractors are on site. This is charged at an hourly rate plus travelling but we will be able to estimate the probable amount of hours required.

We also offer a full planting plan and supply service to compliment either your design or enhance your existing landscaping. This service will be subject to either an individual quote or included within the total construction quotation depending on your requirements.
